Solange Knowles attended the Absolut Tune Launch Party at The Top of The Standard in New York City on Tuesday night.
The singer/DJ wore her second look from the Esteban Cortazar Resort 2013 collection.
On this occasion she donned an ivory satin cut-out dress with a leather bustier and off-white pleated chiffon skirt.
It’s just like Solange to wear something different and unique, but I wish she opted for a darker colour on her lips as she looks a tad washed out.
Solange wore Giuseppe Zanotti tan booties, which were a celebrity favourite for a while, but they don’t work with her look for me.
The Esteban Cortazar metal ankle-cuff leather sandals as worn by the model would’ve been preferred.
Yay or nay on Solange’s shoe choice?

I think the shoes go with the dress however, I don’t like dress. I don’t think this is better on someone with smaller breasts.
I love that Solange is working her magic on up-and-coming designers. I like everything (including her footweart) but the lips.

Me too. I love that fact that she is giving exposure to fresh upcoming designers but the shoes are not a good choice for this cute look.
I like the dress and I even like it with the shoes. They make more sense when you see her clutch. She is unique and so stylish. I don’t always like what she chooses, but I love her sense of adventure.

Not loving it, don’t like the booties or her pale lip or the skirt which should’ve been a bit shorter (more in a mid knee than just below the knee)for her.

No, it’s too long and the skirt is too big for Solange. Besides, the shoes on the model are way better.
This look is a big Zero for me. Don’t like the dress, shoes or makeup. She can do so much better!
I think Solange’s rep as a tastemaker is overated.
I like her style always. She’s so unique but not harsh at the same time. It’s not so colorful but a clean look. I love it. She has the same giuseppe zanotti booties like Michelle has.

The skirt is too long and I agree that she needed a darker lip colour. The shoes are OK, but the model’s shoes would have been better.

Not usually a fan of cut-outs but this look is working for me. I agree about the lips though. The shoes aren’t my favourite choice but they’re ok with look.
I like the concept of the dress much more than I like the execution. It’s like an all-white Mondrian, and I love clean lines. But worn (on model or Solange) the effect is jarring.
