Lara Bingle In Louis Vuitton – SK-II Skincare Line Sydney Event

Lara Bingle attended the SK-II skincare line event at David Jones in Sydney, Australia, today.

The Australian star wore a Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her emerald-green sleeveless dress with black embroidery was styled with a black leather belt, black open-toe booties and a furry collar.

The furry collar seems a bit gimmicky on Lara. I don’t think she makes it work.

A gold cuff and a simple centre-parted ‘do completed her look.

You may remember Pace Wu wore the same dress recently during Paris Fashion Week.

I don’t get why celebs are so into Louis Vuitton. The clothes aren’t flattering and rarely work on the red carpet.

thanks! I always wonder that but im never bold enough to say it jeje. Same with channel.
In this case, I prefer how Pace Wu wore it, without that fur collar

Perfectly put. Was going to say something similar myself!

Ugh i hate this entire look. ITs not very flattering in her. The dress makes her looks boxy and bulky and the boots aren’t doing her any favours.

It looks much better on Pace Wu

completely agree. So unflattering. Do they get dressed in the dark???

    • Alina October 11, 2012 at 17:11 #

      Ditto.

    • dee October 11, 2012 at 17:29 #

      I agree.

      Agree with all of you.

I much prefer this dress on Pace. I don’t like Lara’s shoes and I would have loved to have seen something from the Spring collection as it is Spring here.

If it’s the shoes that I’m thinking of (I can’t see side or rear views) they’re the same ones she wore in a few episodes of her show. Recycling fashion I’m all for – but for someone who thinks she is some fashion entrepreneur, she needs a new stylist or needs to hire one to buy her some new shoes.

I like the look, glad hair is up with such a high neckline

I’m Australian and I can promise you she’s no “star”. Her choice of accessories have made the dress frumpy and rather unfabulous, combined with boring hair. Love your regular content though!

it is rather bad on the model but even worse on lara.

That poorly applied fake tan and the pale patches on her inner arms are giving me the heebie jeebies…

  8. Christine October 11, 2012 at 16:13 #

She is not working this look. I prefer this dress on Pace.

  9. LeeAnn October 11, 2012 at 16:55 #

She looks like a Ninja turtle.

omg…your one liners continue to floor me….in this case…so true.

“You may remember Pace Wu wore the same dress (…)”

Not to mention your (and my) favourite fashionista Diane Kruger, swoon, who I believe wore it first (and best, may I add) in February, during an appearance on the French television programme Le Grand Journal to promote Farewell My Queen.

The dress worked beautifully on Pace’s petite frame but it’s simply wrong for Lara’s non-petite boxy body type.

I’m so sick of Lara trying to be all “high fashion.” She really can’t pull it off! She should stick to dressing in clothes that are actually flattering, rather than worrying about being edgy or trendy…

I’m aussie so i feel i’ve got to defend her a little bit. She’s got a gorgeous face and body and being a ex WAG she goes to great lenghts to wear clothes that are not WAG like. It doesn’t always work but kudos to her for wearing clothes people don’t expect from her.

  14. Katie October 12, 2012 at 15:43 #

This is not working at all, regardless of whether she does not want to look like a wag or not she should find her own style and something that works on her, am speechless!!
