Rose Byrne In Chanel Couture – Chanel’s Fine Jewelry 80th Anniversary Celebration

Rose Byrne joined Blake Lively, Diane Kruger and many other stars on the red carpet last night for the celebration of Chanel Fine Jewelry’s 80th anniversary of the ‘Bijoux De Diamants’ collection in New York City.

Dressed in a Chanel Spring 2011 Couture sleeveless look, the Australian actress continues to prove that she can really do no wrong in my eyes, even wearing those simple black Sergio Rossi pumps.

Rose looked so very graceful in this black sleeveless dress. She shone where so many other of our favourites failed at the event.

Styling her look with a Chanel chain-accented mirrored bag from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, Rose completed her look with a bold red lip colour and a chic updo.

Very classy and ladylike, the shoe could’ve been a bit more inspiring but with the interesting bag like this, the simple pumps work just fine, and bold red lippie is a great finishing touch.

Perfect, for me. Feminine, sexy and classy. I haven’t seen all the other looks but this is easily one of the best, or maybe the best.

OK this is more like it. She looks lovely. Love the bag and lipcolor.

    Heaven.

I strongly disagree – Since Byrne’s not as tall as the runway model, the new proportions make for an unfortunate look.
The middle seam hits her hips at the widest part, the dress ends to low and makes her seems very short, and the white bodice she wears underneath all make this look highly unflattering, and make Byrne seem much larger and shorter than she really is.

The shoes don’t bother me. She is my best dressed of the night.

Gorgeous! She was the best dressed at this event

I’m in the minority, but I didn’t like this. The dress is rather frumpy looking to me and her hair and makeup are too intense.
