Teresa Palmer had a bit of a princess moment when she took to the red carpet for the Busan Film Festival opening ceremony in South Korea yesterday evening.
The beautiful actress wore a Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2012 gown.
It’s a big gown, but I think the young star pulls off this look with a lot of grace.
I love the pearl-and-crystal-encrusted bodice on her short-sleeve and open-back cafe-taffeta tufted ballgown.
Wisely opting for subtle Jamie Wolf earrings and Dana Rebecca Designs rings, Teresa accessorized her look with a gold python Devi Kroell clutch.
Is this look BDOTW worthy?

I love Teresa, but she rarely wows me on the red carpet. This look, however, is BDOTW worthy for me. She looks flawless and the taffeta skirt looks much better on Teresa than on the model.
Such a princess look and she looks lovely
Yes, it is BDOTW worthy. It’s a beautiful big and bold ballgown and she wears it well. I like that she went simple for the makeup too to allow the dress to shine.
Gorgeous dress!
She looks amazing and pulls of that dress without any problem! I think this is definitely a BDOTW worthy look
That skirt is all kinds of ugly but I love the bodice. I just wish the skirt was simpler and then I would love this.
I honestly don’t love it. This dress was on Neiman Marcus or Bergdorfs for ages and I kept imagining how magical it’s red carpet moment would be, and this really falls short to me.
+1 The bottom is throwing me off. Not a fan of that material. Feels very prom-ish
I don’t like the bottom part and the gown makes her look wider in the mid-section.
I agree!
I don
I don’t mind the bottom but completely agree that it makes her waist look wide.
For me this is BDOTW. This is gorgeous! She looks royal! love it
and love that she didn’t go overboard on accessories or bling.
Not for me, because I don’t like the fit and the styling, most of all the hairstyle.
For me this isn’t BDOTW worthy. I don’t like her hairstyle and makeup.
love the upper part but the bottom is just weird. I usually like that type of skirt but here it’s not working
Yes, it is because she looks so natural in the gown. She carries it ten times better than the model. Seems like it was made for her.
My thoughts exactly. This feels very natural and effortless on her. BDOTW worthy for me.
I have mixed feelings about this look but overall I like it and I think it’s BDOTW worthy.
Likes:
- overall she looks effortlessly gorgeous and regal. It made me stop for a while and look into details.
Dislikes:
- wish her hair was more sleek. Too messy for the voluminous skirt.
- her waist does look wider than it should be. Maybe it’s too high-waisted?
