Katy Perry was the first to wear this beautiful Temperley London gown back in April while attending the 29th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
Her sheer ivory gown with intricate embroidered details was worn with a strap off the shoulder, a delicate floral garland and a stack of complementary pearl bracelets.
Ashlee Simpson offered a more angelic feel to this elegant gown when she attended HBO’s 2012 Emmy Awards Post Awards Reception last week.
Even thought this sparkling gown doesn’t need too much accessorising, Ashlee added an oversized Judith Leiber clutch, but kept the jewels minimal.
Ashlee wins for me as I don’t like Katy’s rock-chick interpretation of this look.

The strap is kinda unfortunate on Katy Perry, but I really like her styling. It kinda reminds me of art nouveau?
Not really liking the dress, but at least it’s not falling off of Ashlee, and her hair is a color found in nature…
I actually really love the look on the model! The head wrap was a different kind of twist that made the whole outfit look right. +1 vote for the model!
