Gui Lun Mei attended the 14th Taipei Film Festival awards ceremony in Taipei, Taiwan, back in July, wearing my favourite piece from the Jil Sander Fall 2012 collection.
Her elegant navy wool dress which sits just off the shoulder was styled with simple black heels.
Kasia Smutniak, the breakout star of the 2012 Venice Film Festival, wore the same dress for photocall prior to the festival which announced her as the host of the opening and closing ceremonies.
While I prefer Kasia’s shoe choice, the illusion panel didn’t match her skin tone which I found bothersome, so Gui wins for me.

Kasia Smutniak for me.
+1
I went with Gui Lun Mei for the same reason as FC — that center panel doesn’t match Kasia’s skin tone. It doesn’t look like an illusion panel, it looks like a tan piece set in a navy dress.
I don’t like the dress, but the panel isn’t as jarring on Gun Lei, so I went with her.
I do enjoy this dress. Gui Lun Mei brandished it best, her look goes with the dress. If Kasia really really wanted to wear this dress I would pull her hair back and maybe even add some accessories.
