Jessica Stam took to the red carpet at the amfAR Benefit Gala in Milan this weekend, joining Solange Knowles, Sharon Stone and Livia Firth.
The supermodel sparkled in a white Dsquared² Fall 2012 dress with the designer standing either side of her.
Her strapless white dress with exaggerated hips and a sweetheart neckline was decorated with cascading crystal embellishments.
Even with all that embellishment, Jessica still opted for a huge statement necklace, diamond-encrusted bracelets on both wrists and glittery silver crystal-embellished Dsquared² pumps.
I love Jessica’s slicked-back hairstyle and that pop of red lippie. This is how I wish Emma Watson would style her hair and makeup last night.

That huge necklace is way out of place. I love everything else, but the necklace has to go.

All that glitter. The dress and shoes are gorgeous but the necklace is too distracting.
This is a major sparkle overload – bulky necklace and earrings, bracelets (on one wrist at least), shoes – everything has got to go. A delicate silver strappy sandal and small studd earrings or a bracelet on one wrist only would’ve been sufficient.
Oh, The Stam! How I wish there more of her head turning ilk on the runways nowadays. I love this necklace! I’m fine with the extra bling on the bracelet as well. This is a lovely look.
