I liked every single look from this poll.
but I had to give my vote to Julianna Margulies in Giambattista Valli Couture, because she stepped out of her BLACK comfort zone and because I love that gown.
Leslie Mann is actually my best dressed, too bad that she couldn’t make it to the poll. My best dressed in this poll, however, is the beautiful Emilia Clarke.
My runner up is Padma Lakshmi. And my other favourites are Nicole Kidman, Jena Malone, Tina Fey, Julianne Moore.
My best dressed was definitely Julie Bowen. Sorry she didn’t make the list.

My vote went to Padma, she looked gorgeous and I love that she didnt over accessorize. I am not a January Jones style fan but she got it so right!
Jessica Pare, Nicole Kidman, Lucy Liu, Emilia Clarke and January Jones are my top 5 favorites, and my NO.1 goes to January Jones.

So many great looks here! I had to give my vote to adorable Kiernan Shipka. Stunning fabric in her dress! One of my favourites were also Allison Williams, who didnt make it to the final here in the super tough competition. She really nailed that beautiful dark green Oscar de la renta gown.
They’re all beautiful, but I love so much that Chanel dress so I voted for Emilia Clarke, Jessica Pare is my second.
I think this is the hardest decision I’ve ever made regarding a best dressed actor for an event. I think most of them got it “very” right.
Julie Bowen! She was amazing, the colour alone!!
These Emmy Awards were far better than the 2012 Oscars in my opinion. I’ve seen only one gown I don’t like (the lace Prada one just like you, FC).

Not bad for Tina Fey making it to the best dressed list. But I have to say, you know the red carpet overall style is warm when Tina Fey is one of the best dressed. My vote went to Julianne Moore.

I gave it to Tina Fey. Her dress may not be the flashiest, but that is the best she’s ever looked. Hair, makeup, dress, body, pose. Perfection. That is one confident lady.
I voted for Jessica Pare in Jason Wu, but there are many other looks I also like from this list, like those of Ginnifer Goodwin, Julianne Moore, Padma Lakshmi, Tina Fey, Lucy Liu and January Jones. Overall, it was a very well-dressed event!
I’m vacillating between two very different looks – Ginnifer Godwin or Jessica Pare, I love them both and can’t decide…….I’m sorry Kerry Washington didn’t make the list, I thought she looked beautiful on the stage Vs Julianna Moore who looked great standing still but horrible the minute she moved (weird things happened in her chest area). The Emmys produced a nicely varied red carpet, hopefully this bodes well for an upcoming awards season!
Hi FC! First of all great job whit the Emmy’s Red Carpet, you were perfect as allways. I voted for Julianna Margulies in Giambattista Valli Couture because this was the best she ever looked on the Red Carpet and also I was a little bit overwhelmed by this incredible poll.
A few misses for me: Leslie Mann, Julie Bowen and Claire Danes, but as you said on a post (don’t remember which one) picking a best dressed was going to be really hard and it was.

Hmmm, in the end i went for Emilia Clarke! She looks amazing and it’s cool because it’s not just a standard gown! i also really loved allison williams’ oscar de la renta gown, even though it isn’t in this poll.. must just be me!

I can’t decide!
I have no problem deciding – NICOLE KIDMAN. The Antonio Berardi dress is something special. As far as the hair issue is concerned, Nicole’s straight blond(ish) hair is perfect for this sleek white-crisp column gown, and her blue sandals are a delight. This is the look I’ll remember.
Padma – runner-up.
One thing I enjoyed about this event was that so many of the looks were more creative than usual. And the comments here were great fun because there was so much (pleasant) disagreement.
It’s a difficult choice but I finally decided to vote for Lucy Liu. Yes, I know she practically had to wear stilts to pull this off, but IMO she succeeded.
My runners-up — also a tough choice — would be Nicole Kidman and Emily VanCamp.
I can’t make up my mind about January Jones. I think her shoe choice is throwing me off. In any case, there were several looks (like January’s) that I may not have personally loved but that I appreciated.

4. Rooney Mara
5. Padma Lakshmi
And still, there are others that I really liked as well. This was such a great red carpet *le sigh*

It’s a tie between Ginnifer Goodwin and Emilia Clarke. Both looked gorgeous!
Out of this crew, I went with JJ, but I would have chosen Julianne Hough. I know it was costumey but I liked her fresh-from-the-sea mermaid. Award shows and costumes go well together.
tough decision! my fave were :
-Emilia Clarke (how amazing and fashionable does she look in that Chanel dress?)
-Nicole Kidman (the blue details are just perfection)
-Ginnifer Goodwin (the color, the details,shoes all perfect)
- January Jones ( she’s daring on the RC, i like that)

Tina Fey definitely has come in to her own and looks phenomenal. My best dressed and also think Emilia Clarke looks the most fashion forward out of anyway at the event, definitely one to watch. Thank you so much for all the fabulous coverage always, my go to fashion website
