Donatella Versace presented a subtle collection for Spring 2013 as she toned down the in-your-face uber-sexy looks (which I always enjoy) for a more bohemian vibe.
The show opened with lace-accented pieces, some revealing the models’ toned abs. We also saw mini dresses paired with low-slung studded belts, crop tops, shorts, drop waist dresses, sleek blazers, leather jackets, oversized shirts and cropped pants.
Towards the end of the show the bohemian vibe really came to life with a selection of tie-dye pieces with loose silhouettes billowing down the runway.
The last eight gowns with the slashed cut-out details, gold accents and thigh-high splits pretty much had Jennifer Lopez’ name written all over them, but she will have to fight Lea Michele for them.
Key accessories included sexy strappy knee-high boots, strappy metallic sandals, leather clutches and silver fringe details.
Front Row: Christopher Kane

I don’t like this show such as the previous Versace ones (although the shoes are amazing) . I much prefer Versus SS13.
i was sooooo disappointed in this collection. everything looks dated & cheap.
Not my favourite Versace collection.
Look 16 http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/slideshow/S2013RTW-VERSACE/#16 on Diane Kruger.
Those dresses at the end are waaaay too revealing. That is a red carpet disaster waiting to happen. It almost doesnt look intentional to me, I feel like they sent the models down the runway before the dress was finished.
Would be interesting to see look 46 on Blake Lively.
The prints looks great and the fabric flows nicely but the design of many of these looks are really tacky.
Versace is always too revealing for me; that just ruins the collection even though I like the more boho vibe.
