Fan Bingbing In Stéphane Rolland Couture – John Walker & Sons Odyssey Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended the press conference of ‘John Walker & Sons Odyssey’ in Shanghai, China, last week.

The current Stéphane Rolland muse was suited up wearing a look from the designer’s Fall 2012 Couture collection.

Her black suit with fringed detailing along the sleeves and pants was styled with a white vest top and an oversized statement necklace.

It’s nice to see the Chinese actress gives us something new, but I wish the pants could have been taken up several inches; they are actually dragging on the floor.

A severe centre-parted ponytail and hot red lips completed her look.

Not her finest moment I have to say.

    Nope, not her best look.

This is one of the ugliest outfits I have EVER seen in my life and to think that FBB would wear this it’s even scarier :-s

there are not enough words in the world to describe how much i HATE that necklace. if the length of the trousers were better this would be great (minus the hideous necklace of course)

She’s not afraid to bring the DRAMA. Love that.

i really love her costumy looks, i consider this one of them. if the pants were more fitted this would blow me away. but i love this look, especially the huge neckalce

Fan looks her worst when she is Going Gothic.

But I do love her addition of the Lanvin-esque heirloom necklace to cover some flesh.

‘Fan looks her worst when she is going gothic’ Exactly.
That’s the thing about Fan. I like how she is trying different things (even though she can be overly theatrical/costumey quite often, I don’t mind) – she can be effortlessly pretty and elegant (this is what she does best!), she can do high-octane glamour really well, she can do themed looks …but her quirky looks don’t work that well (often end up looking gimmicky), and she simply can’t handle vampy/gothic – those are the worst for her, she just can’t pull them off, it’s too much for her.

        +1 on everything-:)))

She looks like an asian Morticia. Bad idea.

  10. Moxie September 25, 2012 at 21:54 #

I like how she switches things up, but the pants desperately need to be hemmed.

Not liking this look. Very Halloween Costume vibes.

Fan also wore another SR couture on her new movie’s conference on Sep. 24th in Beijing. FC could have a check.

This could almost pass for a vampire (vampiress?) Halloween costume, and not necessarily in a bad way. Sure, it’s over-the-top and theatrical, but I like how her porcelain skin looks in that gothic black suit and cherry lipstick.

I say this all the time. She needs to learn to stop getting all costumey with her outfits. This wouldn’t have been a bad look if she hadn’t decided to go all dark because the suit had a Gothic feel to it.

    She looks unfortunate.

I would have taken off the pendant and just have the beaded necklace. Also the pants needed to be hemmed. But other than that I really like this look.

love the look.. would only change the pant length.. how gorgeous is her face

  19. Alina September 26, 2012 at 18:43 #

She hasn’t wowed me in a while.
