For the Antonio Marras Spring 2013 presentation we were seated around tables offering coffee and iced sponge cake, much like a wedding, so I expected a parade of bridal-esque gowns to take to the runway – especially when the show opened with the wedding march playing in the background.
I was wrong.
Models snaked around the tables in dresses, cocoon coats, jackets, shorts, bustier tops and vests in floral prints, patchwork, tweed, and camouflage or bouclé fabrics.
With nearly everything embellished with Swarovski Elements, the models sparkled as they took to the runway.
This collection will appeal to those starlets who aren’t afraid of colour and prints.
Key accessories included colourful pumps and slingbacks.
Models sported pale faces and kohl-rimmed eyes with their hair styled into a messy French roll updo.
Favourites: Jacket with printed shorts and floral print cape with matching skirt
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Carey Mulligan, Rashida Jones, Michelle Obama, Hannah Simone, Nicola Roberts and Whitney Port

One of the best show in Milan this season. BRAVO Antonio!
A little boxy looking. I felt like I was looking at paper dolls.
