Jessica Pare In Jason Wu – 2012 Emmy Awards

Jessica Pare channelled her inner Grace Kelly as she took to the red carpet this evening for the 2012 Emmy Awards in LA.

As we discovered this week, Jessica loves Jason Wu and the love appears to be mutual, as the designer created this lovely white Grecian gown for the ‘Mad Men’ actress especially for this occasion.

The one-shoulder look was accented with a black waistband and complemented with a black clutch.

An emerald ring, silver Bulgari earrings, a retro updo and that striking red lip colour completed this fabulous look.

reminiscent of the FLOTUS’s innauguration gown in silhouette. Not loving.

The FLOTUS’s inauguration gown was truly stunning, but this one is so generic that I think I can pull a bunch of similar ones @, say, Macy’s… She looks alright but there’s nothing exciting.

Old Hollywood glam done right. I’m dying over her hair and makeup.

    • Noemi September 24, 2012 at 00:09 #

Me, too. She’s chic from head to toe. Make up and hair are very very beautiful.

I agree. Best dressed nominee tonight 100%

this just screams dita. love it!

  4. rebecca o September 23, 2012 at 23:40 #

This is so generic I can’t muster any enthusiasm for it. I hope someone will take a risk tonight.

  5. Yeliz September 23, 2012 at 23:40 #

Gorgeous! But it would have been perfect if she had worn emerald earrings to complement the ring.

  6. Christine September 23, 2012 at 23:40 #

She is obviously a big fan of his. Wearing his dresses exclusively, but this look is boring.

  7. Nat39 September 23, 2012 at 23:41 #

I love the retro ‘do and bright red lippie. Jessica looks beautiful in this elegant Grecian gown.

  8. Ella September 23, 2012 at 23:43 #

I find this gorgeous….and yet, I would like the neckline either a sweetheart at that length….or the “square” cut a little hair.

    Makeup and hair is perfection!

  9. ceren September 23, 2012 at 23:44 #

i think this is the best she has ever looked.

  10. Rebecca September 23, 2012 at 23:52 #

I’m partial to anyone with dark hair and fair skin. I would have gone with more color, but I love the lipstick.

  11. Hannah September 23, 2012 at 23:53 #

I think that she looks gorgeous, but there is something stoping me form loving it. It might be because I don’t liek black on white gowns, but I love the silhouette on her and she looks gorgeous but I wont be shocked if I forget this.

Loving the white, impeccable cut and fit. Makeup is flawless.

  13. Cindy September 24, 2012 at 00:11 #

    I think she looks lovely.

  14. Odette September 24, 2012 at 00:44 #

This look is boring. It looks like a $800 Notte by Marchesa gown. Simple, goddess but boring.

Nothing special. Especially the boring styling. An emerald ring and drop earrings isn’t enough.

  15. Rebecca Z September 24, 2012 at 02:37 #

I think this is a great choice for her–she looks really lovely.

  16. EmmaWoodhouse September 24, 2012 at 02:53 #

Wish it had two straps to hike it up a little, but this look is very Old Hollywood, and I really like that. She looks beautiful.

  17. anna September 24, 2012 at 03:38 #

I really like the dress. Simple and lovely.

  18. Alina September 24, 2012 at 04:26 #

    Stunning! Her best look yet.

  19. Dhppy September 24, 2012 at 05:16 #

It’s a shame the bottom of the gown is so boring. From the waist up, it’s a real head turner.

  20. Parvati September 24, 2012 at 13:54 #

This is a great look. I already consider it one of the awards’ best outfits.

  21. J September 24, 2012 at 14:57 #

    Wow, color gives me goosebumps.

I came back to take a second look at this one, couldn’t get it out of my mind. Parisienne, Degas ballet dancers, the elegance of Gigi in the stunning black-accented white gown when Gaston realizes the gawky schoolgirl has blossomed into beautiful woman — these are the words and images that are springing to my mind. This dress is deceptive in its simplicity. Jessica Pare quietly stuns.
