The Asia and the South Pacific Diamond Jubilee Tour for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge came to an end today, as the couple were spotted at Brisbane Airport en route back to the UK.
The Duchess ended her run of looks wearing a Project D ‘Penelope’ tea dress.
Catherine’s floral button-down dress with a box-pleat skirt, is the second look a royal has chosen from this label plus Catherine’s sister, Pippa is a fan of the brand too.
The look was completed with Catherine’s go-to L.K. Bennett pumps.

Nothing new.
Same old. Same old…
i think it’s about time to stop showing us kate’s boring dresses
+1
Despite the ubiquitous L.K.B.’s, this was a great tour for Kate. I even preferred it to her North American tour that went on a while ago! This dress is so pretty. I love Project D!
She is gorgeous, young and fit but such a BORING dresser :/
This is my very least favorite look I’ve ever seen on her.
She looks nice. I like her choices of print dresses.
I like the dress print too!
Surely you mean “he look was RUINED by Catherine’s go-to L.K. Bennett pumps.” Nice dress. Age appropriate for a change!
I love how she wore an australian brand for spending a couple of hours in australia
So pretty and so Catherine. I think she looked beautiful on this tour. She knows what works for her and sticks to it.
I always wonder if it is Palace mandate that she wears such basic shoes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a rule forbidding strappy sandals or open shoes, at least after I read that tights are/were mandatory, not only for royal family members, but for normal people invited to official dinners.
This tour was a disaster fashion wise from head to toe.
totally agree.
this particular dress would have been better for Duchess if the hem had weights in it. She ran into some trouble with the wind, shown in a video on the Daily Mail site. Rather unfortunate after other body revealing instances that had hit the news lately. I’ve come to the conclusion that this woman must have a professional stylist.
What I mean is she NEEDS a professional stylist. That way hopefully she won’t have any more wardrobe malfunctions.
Stick a fork in me. I was done by day 1. So so so so so so so so boring. I can look at some people’s clothes and know this is not my taste. But I can see what they found attractive about it. In her case, I just almost NEVER get her fashion sense. And she sticks to the same silhouette and boring prints over and over and over again. **Sigh***
