Anna Kendrick hit the red carpet at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in California yesterday evening for the premiere of her latest flick ‘End of Watch’.
In a recent interview, Anna stated that Elie Saab was one of her favourite designers. Considering this Elie Saab Fall 2012 gown is her third look by the designer in so many months, we believe her statement to be true.
We are so used to seeing the actress wear cute fit-and-flare mini cocktail dresses that it’s refreshing to see her select this very grown-up black-and-nude jersey gown with a decorated collar necklace.
The styling was kept simple with a copper Rauwolf clutch, light waves and a beautiful nude lip colour providing the finishing touches.
Do you love this simple, clean, sophisticated look, or would you have preferred something more girlie from Anna?

not a fan. eventho she does look gorgeous, I prefer young hollywood in fun and colorful outfits. this is the age when you can wear the fun stuff why already start wearing the grown up – stern look?

The outfit is amazing, but I’m not sure if Anna Kendrick has enough height and overall presence to pull it off. Also, I really wish she would have done something more sophisticated with her hair.
Not liking the dress on her.
I prefer the model’s version — i.e., without the collar but with the belt.
I think Anna looks very nice, better than she has looked in a long while, but I’m not overwhelmed by this look.
She looks gorgeous! I think she knws what works for her body – IMO she has killer limbs, and here she is showing off her super sender arms, and, thsi might soudn random, but she has beautiful elegant hands and they really help the overall look (Kristen Stewart for example always has awkward hands that I find detrimental to her looks). Her hair and makeup often let down her looks for me but are perfection here, and the Anna I know and love goes for a beautiful fairly safe dress with great accessories, and the clutch personifies that. I’m hoping that ehr sheos are amazing too.
Don’t like the dress–she looks like she is in an Edwardian drawing room drama. Does the dress hav a bustle too?
I’m not a fan of her style, there’s always something I don’t like about her looks. This beautiful dress needed the runway belt and didn’t need the necklace.

Lovely dress but not suited for her. The dress needs a statuesque woman to give it that wow factor. Somebody like Nicole Kidman.
The neckline is baffling to me. I like that she’s trying something new but the front of the dress completely washes her out.
