Eva Longoria was the host of the 2012 ALMA Awards which were held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, on Sunday evening.
The actress’ first look of the night was a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 gown.
Her jet-black gown with a chiffon beaded neckline, cap sleeves and a central slit is stunning, but I don’t understand why she had to do a Blake Lively all the way down the red carpet.
You may remember the time when Blake Lively wore a Lanvin gown, held to one side to ensure her shapely pins were on display as she walked down the red carpet.
Tom Ford sandals, a chic updo, coral lips and diamond stud earrings completed her look.

I think she looks stunning. Yes, the pose could have been better, but I really like this look. Glad, that she didn’t wore pumps.

I think I prefer Ginnifer Goodwin in the red version at the ET gala especially without the try hard leg flashing though I prefer in Eva’s style of shoe.
These are the same Tom Ford sandals that Jennifer Aniston wore last year…and I’m still craving them!!

I would love the gown without the slit (or with a more subtle slit, as Ginnifer presented it) but Eva makes it look awkward and desperate.
I really like this gown and I think Eva looks great in it but I just can get ovet her posing. If she really wanted to show of her legs so much she should’ve chosen something with a high slit. That way it wouldn’t have looked as awkward and desperate as it looks now…
The detailing on the back is amazing. I like the dress in orange but eva is working this dress.

Looking at it on the model, the dress is phenomenal! But unfortunately I just don’t think she does it justice…
