Following the welcoming ceremony to the Solomon Islands, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a traditional island feast, hosted by the Governor-General and his wife.
It has been reported that Catherine had planned another outfit for this feast, but that she opted to wear an original Solomon dress for the occasion which was presented to her upon arrival.
The vibrant pink-and-orange batik-print strapless dress from a local shop called Island Print was styled with Stuart Weitzman Minx wedges and a gold bracelet.
This is my second favourite look after the Prabal Gurung dress.
I’m hoping this tour will open Catherine’s eyes to wearing more colour in the future.

Wow, she wears colors… this is more a scoop than the topless photos! 🙂
this is not perfect. this is not stylish. this is “I don’t really care, I was just feeling like wearing a relaxed bright comfortable dress, so there”. and she looks great! it gives that therapeutic laid-back vibe all of us, stuck-up workaholics, so desperately need.
So pretty! Love the print! She looks relaxed and great. Grateful for new shoes! 🙂
The designer of this and Prince Williams outfit is called TAV its a Cook Island clothing label not from the Solomon Islands.
Nice dress but I’m so over her pageant queen hairstyle
Gorgeous!
Beautiful dress, beautiful Kate! William, on the other hand, looked like her uncle. Men should stay away from Hawaii shirts and golf tees – both are loose, shapeless tops that age a man.
“I’m hoping this tour will open Catherine’s eyes to wearing more colour in the future.”
I hope so too.
What? Bold colors? Print? And she loooks happier than ever. What is happening?
Oh, and strapless, too. Who is this?
She looks gorgeous!!!! Finally I’m saying this!!! This dress looks amazing on her! I also like her wedges. I just wish she could take some makeup lessons.
Love this look. The only that could have made it more perfect is if she’d worn her hair up. Also, although these sandals are a welcome change, I agree with the comment about wearing a lower heal. It would be nice to see her in a flat sandal sometime. She’s so tall and slim, she certainly doesn’t have to wear heals ALL the time (especially in a more casual setting).
color and prints do wonders for her. I don’t why she’s so afraid to wear them.
Really nice, I like it on her more than Prabal Gurung.
I’d actually venture to say this is one of her best ever looks… I think it’s beautiful!
Love the dress.
They have tone the ugliest pair of shoes I have ever seen
This was my favourite look from this Tour.
So grateful isn’t wearing those pumps. Glad she is wearing more color and prints. This is lovely.
this beachy/flowy dress called for a lower heel. the hair is getting ridiculous as well, she needs to chop at least 3 inches off of it.
im getting really sick of this hair and make up =/
Pretty! A dress that she couldn’t pair with her beloved shoes 😉
New shoes … I’m shocked O_O
She looks great, the Islanders know how to dress her.
Love the other lady’s dress with the print and the beads
+1
New shoes, yay! She looks great with an effortless styling, I love it.
She’s actually worn these shoes before, to a polo match with a greenish dress.
