Here are the rest of the looks which hit the red carpet on Saturday evening at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
Jennifer Morrison: The actress would have stood out more than most wearing a vibrant red Romona Keveza Spring 2012 silk/chiffon gown with a plunging neckline. A black Daniel Swarovski ‘Gala’ clutch with silver crystal border and a hot red lip colour to match her dress completed her look.
Brenda Strong: The ‘Dallas’ actress shimmered down the red carpet looking sensational wearing a Marc Bouwer gown with bold shoulders and silver sequin details throughout. Slightly surprised by the nude sandals and the contrasting gold clutch, but it’s a stunning look nonetheless.
Padma Lakshmi: The TV host looked stunning wearing a Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 sheer black gown with an embroidered floral detail and a corseted back. She wisely let the gown do all the talking.
Julia Ormond: The ‘Mad Men’ actress opted for a red David Meister signature gown with a cowl-neckline which she styled with a gold python Devi Kroell large Mercer clutch and matching strappy sandals. I love the statement earrings and the side-swept wavy locks.
Malin Akerman: It’s not often I look at Malin on the red carpet and feel a sense of disappointment, but this black J. Mendel Fall 2012 gown, even with the plunging neckline, does nothing for me. Black and gold accessories fail to lift the look.
Lisa Kudrow: Like many stars who took to this red carpet, Lisa opted for black, wearing a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2011 gown. Her black knit gown with a nude silk striped bodice was styled with a black clutch.
Emily Deschanel: Here we have yet another black dress. Emily opted for a vintage dress with a lace overlay accented with a patent leather waistband. A gold Anna Dello Russo at H&M clutch, Graziela earrings, H&M pumps and dark red lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Isnt Malin wearing J Mendel FW12?
yes. thanks
Emily is is such a beautiful woman. I wish she takes more risk on red carpets because she totally have the face and body to pull many things off.
ITA. Emily is a beautiful and talented actress, but she always picked the wrong gown for red carpets.
My favourite from the bunch is Padma.
Mine too.
Marc Bouwer’s silver sequined gown is stunning but let down by Brenda’s styling unfortunately. If I had to pick one overall good look that would be Padma Lakshmi.
Julia Ormond with the distractingly oversized clutch and silhouette that fails to excite, and Emily Deschanel who looks plain bad to me are my least favourite of the bunch.
I like Padma’s look the best. Jennifer Morrison is second, but there’s nothing really special about her look.
It’s a shame that both Julia Ormand and Lisa Kudrow chose such matronly dresses.
I love Jennifer Morrison and Padma Lakshmi’s looks.
Malin Akerman’s is the only dress here that love. I appreciate Brenda Strong’s retro-Outer Space dress though. Gaga is probably miffed she missed that one. Kudrow and Deschanel opted for frumpy, despite them both having great figures that even a middling stylist could easily showcase.
Wou!!! Brenda Strong <3
Jennifer Morrison looks great.
Padma Lakshmi looks amazing in that Zuhair Murad
Emily’s is my favorite here. Wasn’t really impressed by the rest.
Jennifer Morrison <3
My favorite among them would be Brenda Stron and Padma! but Elizabeth Gillies looked the best in this red carpet!! have you put any pictures of her, FC?
brenda and padma are my favorite too
