Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Temperley London – British High Commission Tea Party

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge attended a tea party at the British High Commission on day 4 of their South-East Asian Diamond Jubilee Tour earlier today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Duchess heard your prayers and finally swept her hair up into a chic pearl-accented bun while wearing a Temperley London dress from the Fall 2012 collection.

Her pale blue dress with a white lace overlay with intricate embroidered details was styled with, yes you guessed it, her nude L.K. Bennett pumps.

From the ankles up, this is my second favourite look so far, following the Prabal Gurung digital-print dress.

    So ladylike…love it
I have love and hate relationship with her style…I usually hate when she wears her pumps but I like it with this dress. It compliments the dress

love EVERYTHING especially the hair, finally she tries a new style.

GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! Got to say, that this deserves a BDOTW nomination in my opinion, along with the Prabal and the McQueen. I know that others have been disappointed with her choices, but I really love this tour. So much pretty! :) The new hairstyle is welcome–a new shoe would be welcome too.

I really like this. Not only is dress lovely, but I love that she wore her hair up and went light on the makeup than usual (this has to be the lightest I’ve ever seen her wear her eyeliner).

Lovely dress. Now she just needs to get rid of these horrible shoes and tights and a proper makeup.

She looks stunning, as always, she just needs to get rid of these boring shoes

  7. Rach September 14, 2012 at 16:04 #

She can’t get rid of the tights…it’s Royal protocol that she can’t go barelegged.

I love this, I WANT that dress!

Love that dress. Her best look of the tour so far.

  9. dee September 14, 2012 at 16:20 #

Love everything but the shoes of course.

  10. Moxie September 14, 2012 at 16:25 #

Absolutely lovely from the ankles up.

Agreed, finally something a little different! Bravo! Hair up is much more elegant on her, I think. Yes, best of the tour so far.

She looks lovely and how Chanel are the pearls in her hair! 😉

I’m tired of being bothered by those boring pumps, so I’m trying not to mind them here, because I love this look. So chic and beautiful. And her hair.. she should do an updo like this more often. More more often.

This is also one of my favourite looks at this tour so far and BDOTW worthy.

    so pretty!
there’s no point moaning about the shoes anymore, the woman is clearly in love with them and won’t change

  16. Zmia September 14, 2012 at 18:15 #

It would be gret look if there was no thid white lace on dress, it looks cheap like this

  17. Aline September 14, 2012 at 19:24 #

I think Catherine is a beautiful woman. However, she looks older than she is. So, unlike everyone else, I prefer her hair down because it makes her look younger. With her hair up she looks 40-45, IMO.

And I don’t really care about the dress, I liked her previous options better.

As much gorgeous as she is, I feel like she is really under a lot of stress. She’s aged much faster than ever. Plus that hairdo really gives her a look of “mom with two kids”.

Even the shoe on the lady behind her looks more complementary (colourwise).

  20. roxana September 14, 2012 at 20:17 #

i love her, but i really hate her shoes!!!

  21. Dhppy September 14, 2012 at 20:19 #

Her attachment to those shoes is taking on OCD levels of logic. Although, to be fair, if she forgot to pack other ones, it would be unlikely that she could just go out and find another pair in her size, judging from the height differential between her and most of the women she’s encountered on this tour.

I would have LOVED this look if it wasn’t her third time wearing ice blue on this trip (second time on the same day!) It just ends up being boring!

  23. Ella September 14, 2012 at 23:05 #

I love this dress on her….and the hair is fun to see in a different way. I love her tresses (envious of them actually), but the bun is very, very chic.

However, I am noticing she is doing a lot of flowy styles of late. I know everyone is throwing around “baby bump” but seriously, look at some of the close up shots 😉

  24. Jose September 15, 2012 at 01:29 #

I love that she is dressing up like Wedgwood china for a Tea Party.

I love that she’s dressed up at Wedgwood china for a tea party.

Nice change on the hair. I like it. The dress is pretty.

  27. Jess September 16, 2012 at 01:24 #

I actually really like this surprisingly. I think she’s one of the few people that would be able to pull this off.
