Marisa Tomei attended the ‘Inescapable’ premiere at the Roy Thomson Hall during the 2012 Toronto Film Festival last night.
The actress opted for a Jonathan Saunders dress from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
Although I like this dress, I think I would’ve preferred Marisa in the orange halter-necked piece pictured on the model above. The bare shoulders and striking colour would’ve packed a bigger punch.
Marisa finished her look with gold accessories, including a Sergio Rossi ‘Paillon’ clutch and chunky cuff.

This is almost there, but not quite. I agree that the orange halter would’ve been better on her.
This makes her look bulky.
I agree.
She does look nice, but I totally agree that the orange dress would have been perfect for Marisa.
She could certainly have worked the orange halter, but I really like this dress. The colors are beautiful and subtle on her and I think it is elegant and lady-like.
I would love to have this dress in a knee-length version.
Orange version would’ve certainly been more of a standout but I still like this, Marisa pulls off her version very well, her gold accessories liven up the look, plus more attention is drawn to her face and beautiful hair in her less bright version.
This is super chilled, and I like it. Lots. You can always rely on Marisa Tomei to pull out something you’d rather fancy having in your own wardrobe.
Agree. I rarely met a Marisa look that I didn’t like.
Marisa is looking boring, as always!
I prefer the orange dress too.
I really love Marisa and Jonathan Saunders, but this honestly instantly reminded me of a burlap sack, which is unfortunate. The orange would have been divine with her complexion.
+1
I love this!
I see where she was going, but it doesn’t work. This is….bulky.
I think perhaps this looked better in person. I always like Marisa’s commitment to her personal style and her fondness for anything with a vintage twist to it.
