The weather was a lot milder in New York City yesterday, but I still got my pins out.
I wore my favourite Mary Katrantzou pencil print dress.
You may remember I was mildly obsessed with this dress when it was presented back in February, so I had to purchase this commercial version.
I styled it with my burgundy Zara sandals and a neon yellow Aila ‘Spike Me’ mini bag.
It maybe a mini bag, but it packs a mean punch with those silver studs.

I had my bigger bag with me during the day, and a smaller bag for the evening
So adventurous. Ive been loving your style — you don’t play it safe at all! Except for the hair, which looks fine, but i keep imagining you with something freer and funkier. Maybe a more natural hair look? In any case, you rock it!
I ADORE this dress. I aways say that Mary Katrantzou doesn’t get worn enough on the red carpet, and when she does she gets ruined by hideous shoes (I will never forgive LeeLee Sobieski for those ankle boots!). It is a gorgeous colour with your skin tone, and I love that you didn’t play it safe with the bag or shoes, you make pulling off bright colours and loud prints look so easy!

FC, I don’t say this because I’m a fan of you or the amount of work you put into this website. I don’t say this because you’re the one wearing this dress. I say this because this is literally BDOTY-worthy for me. From head to toe it’s styled perfectly. The fact that you were able to pull off that sharp color-contrast/print with aplomb, that you ROCKED this look, makes it worthy of BDOTY. The hair, the shoes, the bag. Oh my gosh I can keep going. Seriously, this is GREAT. I loved the pencil skirt too and think that it is so awesome that you bought it! You styled it to perfection as well.
