Kristen Wiig went for a vintage-inspired look for the ‘Imogenee’ premiere during the Toronto Film Festival last week.
The actress, writer and comedian wore a dress from the Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2012 collection for the event.
I love this laid-back nod to the 20s look on Kirsten. The dark purple goes well against her fair skin and dark hair, while the semi-casual fit seems to suit her personality.
The shoes, however, are an odd match, though it could be the photography and the light, and the necklace is an unnecessary addition.
Loose waves and pastel pink make-up complete her look.

didnt like it on the model but love it on kristen.
Nice to see her not in nude or black.
I actually really like this. It seems to suit her personality much more than anything I’ve seen her wearing lately. Even the dark hair is growing on me.
I really like it from the ankles up.
+1 great without the shoes.
Not her best look.
I agree.
I sort of like the flapper look. The shoes is something else though.
Omg, I thought it was Florence Welch for a second there!
Love the dress and I kind of like the necklace with it but those shoes are tres bizarre!
The necklace doesn’t bother me either, I think it’s fine here but the shoe choice is puzzling indeed.
Beautiful dress. She looks lovely. And they’re great shoes, although I agree that the colour combo looks a bit off. Thumbs up.
I like this but wish the shoes were black or purple like the color in her dress.
UGH those shoes! Other than that I would love this look–it’s so easy and elegant. I really wish that she had worn a delicate black t-strap heel, to play off the 1920s style.
nice on Kirsten Wiig… BUT what’s about this shoes… they don’t fit at all
