Kate Hudson made an appearance at a photocall for her film ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ during the Toronto Film Festival yesterday.
For the event, Kate chose a simple black sheath dress from Emilio Pucci’s Resort 2013 collection styled with Dana Rebecca Designs and Graziela jewels.
The actress looks confident and happy in this dress – and so she should. Kate has the toned legs for it and I love the hair and make-up.
I’m not sure, however, about the scarf and bright green shoes. Both pieces are great on their own, but when used together, it doesn’t really go.
What do you think?

I think the dress is sitting a tad too low and I agree that the scarf doesn’t go with those gorgeous shoes. I love her hair and make-up too.
+1. Minor flaws aside, she looks gorgeous!

Not a big fan of the choice of shoes. Can’t help but notice how amazing Jourdan looks in the dress though, totally outshines Kate imo.
I like the scarf and shoes, just not together. The dress is super-tacky imo.
I agree about the dress. It’s very simple but I don’t like the style, it’s too revealing in a negative way.
I agree.
The green shoes kill the sex appeal this dress has.
Ditto. I can’t even concentrate on the sexiness of the look (love this dress on Kate!) with the out-of-place green shoes popping at me.
Incredible!
Although she looks more like Kate MOSS than Hudson, but this is no bad thing!
Not liking the scarf with the dress but that is a minor issue. She looks smoking hot.
I like the scarf with the shoes with the simple black sheath. After all Pucci is known for his colorful mix of colors…
I think she looks amazing – IMO, the fit, the shoes and the scarf turn this from a plain LBD to something pretty special. Love it.
She looks so much like Goldie in this pic. Not in love with the whole ensemble, but she sure looks like her mom here.
I think she looks chic and sexy. Its a simple look, but somehow she manages to make the look non-boring.
She looks gorgeous. That kind of appearance we barely notice what one’s wearing.
