Halle Berry attended the ‘Cloud Atlas’ premiere during the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend.
The actress took a style risk in a Roberto Cavalli trouser suit from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection for the showing.
While Halle looked her ever-beautiful self on the red carpet, the same can’t be said for her outfit. Yes, trousers suits are de rigueur right now, but this one is not working for me.
The jacket is well-cut and might be OK if style with something else.
The pants, on the other hand, look dated and the pattern on the sheer Monique Lhuillier blouse is too busy when clashed against the purple print. And, Halle, do we really need to be seeing your bra?
What do you think?

I totally agree. She looks gorgeous but I’m really not feeling the outfit. The jacket with another pair of trousers would have been a great look.
While she really took a risk, it is not a risk that paid off IMO.
She should have worn the whole monique lhuilier outfit and this look would have turned 180 degrees, and her coiff will make this look amazingly androgynous.
+1
this outfit is a disaster
on the bright side, its better to see her bra than her ummm
I agree. I like the jacket and sheer top with something else. Maybe a pencil skirt or better fitted pants?
Halle Berry should seriously consider giving a rest to the revealing outfits. Whether is a sheer piece, a big cleavage or a high split, the “excessive skin show off” element is always there. And the worst of all is that she doesn’t even need that giving her killing body and pretty face. She could go out dressed as a nun and would still be hot. So I really cant understand her obssession with revealing looks. And this one here is no exception. I could go on and on about how much I dislike the suit and her earrings, but the sheer blouse is just so bad that it even makes the suit acceptable.
I think she looks ridiculous. Just awful.
Her look reminds me of this one: http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2010/12/01/halle-berry-in-balmain-frankie-and-alice-la-premiere/
Except I think I prefer the Balmain.
Thats exactly what i was going to say !
I thought the same thing!
Bad …
She looks so beautiful and glowing. She took a risk and it paid off IMO.
+1 though I must admit I could be playing favorites here, I think she looks great.
I think this wooud have looked better with a black shirt that wasn’t sheer.
She looks like a female Steven Tyler.
LOL spot on!
What’s wrong with her stylist? She keeps getting her the same boring, tacky and unflattering clothes, that’s really a shame, Halle’s truly gorgeous!
UGH. This is positively horrendous. The Monique Lhuillier ensemble (if the blouse had been lined) could have been great. The Roberto Cavalli one is a nightmare.
Deja vu. She had worn something like this before, no?
several times. The Balmain springs to mind
Totally tacky.
She is so gorgeous. Love the entire look!!
