With the intense heat in New York City at the moment, the Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 show provided a breath of fresh air.
The collection was made up of easy, sporty, wearable separates with plenty of 60s and 70s references inspired by the work of iconic photographer Slim Aarons.
As someone who is obsessed with prints, I loved the florals, especially the floral ombre zipper vests and rich blue and red embroidered details on the jeans and cropped jackets.
We saw a lot of relaxed silhouettes, including sheer blouses, drawstring shorts, flares, print jackets, casual jumpsuits, all of which make for great summer staples.
While the designer didn’t give us any red carpet gowns, she did give the likes of Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Kate Bosworth and Miranda Kerr plenty of street style options.
Key accessories included cut-out booties, bi-colour sandals and a wide selection of the designers signature bags.
Front Row: Ryan Lochte, Lauren Conrad, Shenae Grimes, Tika Sumpter and Kristin Chenoweth
Favourites: Floral blouse with jeans and floral blouse with denim shorts
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Krysten Ritter, Hilary Rhoda, Cobie Smulders, Erin Heatherton, Lucy Hale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Chloe Sevigny and Lauren Conrad

Love love love the boxy jacket, something I would definately go for!
I love the floral blouse and Look 32.
Look 32 popped at me, wanna wear it right now.
I love formalwear and girly, glam looks so this collection is up my alley, so to speak. Yet I do appreciate some of the great separates and hope to see Miranda Kerr incorporating them into her street wear!
