Selita Ebanks attended the premiere of fashion documentary ‘Versailles ’73′ in New York City last night.
The model looked gorgeous in a green and plum Roberto Cavalli dress from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.
Some might say that the exaggerated skirt adds too much volume to Selita’s frame, but with her height and body, I think she pulls it off. The high neckline is also a nice balance against the bare legs and back.
Beautiful green Edmundo Castillo ‘Divina’ strappy sandals and a rich plum lip are the perfect additions.

Love this, I agree that she pulls of the volume! Loving the colours especially!!
She looks so stunning!! The green sandals are unexpected and I love the dark lip.
I don’t care for all the volume. It even makes rail-thin Natasha Poly look bulky, which is quite a feat.
The shoes, however, are to die for.
I think she looks flawless. I agree that not everyone can pull this exaggerated skirt off, but Selita does it very well. I can even say that this look could be a BDOTW contender.
+1.
It looks as good on her as it could look on anyone, but I just don’t like this silhouette. Bubble skirts have to be handled really carefully to work, and I don’t think this one does. The fabric is gorgeous, but is a little too stiff for this skirt in my opinion.
BDOTW contender. She looked even more stunning in person xx
This is a great look.
WOW this look is heavenly.
Perfection. She pulls off this tricky dress beautifully with her great lean figure and spot-on styling. BDOTW worthy for me too.
This is a perfectly balanced look, I love it from head to toe :O Her makeup is flawless and the matchy matchy lips are everything but boring! BDOTW worthy!
To me she appears to be wearing a droopy, high-waisted, glittery romper. Very much NOT a fan.
I’m in total agreement with you…nothing about this look works. It’s frumpy and tacky and cheesy and overworked at the same time. I think that the hair and makeup are too harsh as well.
I’m loving this
Gorgeous!
BDOTW-worthy!
