Kate Beckinsale blended into the background in blue at an event celebrating the 40th anniversary of Porche design in LA on Tuesday.
The British actress looked beautiful in a sequined Vivienne Westwood dress, though I’m fairly sure she chose it to stand out from the fashionable crowd, not to match the interior.
Nevertheless, the dress, with its quintessentially Westwood neckline and gathering at the waist, suited Kate perfectly – adding volume where needed and skimming her figure to highlight her svelte frame.
The white bag and matching Christian Louboutin mesh pumps added unexpected and refreshing tones to the ensemble.

This dress … I’ve seen it so many times before (even on Kate)…
I really dislike the pumps and the white bag.
I also think she should choose different bag and shoes.

Not liking her style this time, not a single piece on her looks appealing, even her makeups and hair style (hate the two-tone hair color) looks blah.
yes that bad dye job that looks like she needs a major touch up has got to go! i miss the days when she had the most gorgeous color brown hair all over.
the dress looks amazing on her but everything else especially the shoes are not good.

I like the dress, which is a deja vu, because of the neckline and the gathering, as you wrote, FC. I like the fabric but I’m not crazy about the accessories, most of all about the white purse. She’s lovely as always.
I love the dresss on her–fun but sophisticated–and I like the white clutch. But those mesh pumps have GOT to go. White strappy sandals would have been better, I think.
It’s agood look, even if there is a touch of deja vu about it.
Unfortunately for Kate Beckinsale, i’m over Vivienne Westwood. Sorry but all of her stuff that ends up on the red carpet looks the same. Change the fabric, add a print, so what, it’s still the same basic boring dress.
