We wait all summer for some major red carpet action, and now we have two film festivals running at the same time with Toronto Film Festival just around the corner.
Rachel Weisz attended ‘The Bourne Legacy’ photocall during the 2012 Deauville Film Festival in France this weekend.
The actress has left much of the promotion of this movie to costar Jeremy Renner, so it’s great to see her back on the red carpet.
Dressed in this summer’s favourite red carpet colour, orange, the British actress looked pretty wearing a Sonia Rykiel Resort 2013 dress.
The flowing ruffled neckline and rose appliqué dress was cinched in the waist with a matching belt.
Rachel paired her dress with black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, with a wavy hairstyle and flawless makeup to complete the look.
I want to complain about the shoes colour choice, but in hindsight I find myself more bothered by the placement of the belt which cuts across the rose appliqués.

I prefer the dress as worn by the model.
Agree but not sure it would work on Rachel even then. This style of dress doesn’t usually work on a woman with a bust in my opinion–it becomes a tent. It is adorable on the model.
Yes, belt and sandals need to go.
Not a fan of the dress or the styling.
+1
Even with the belt, this dress is lacking some needed fit!
No matter how it’s styled, or who is wearing it, this dress is completely lost on me.
Why would anyone wear this shapeless, unflattering sack dress?
