Brit Marling In Gucci – 2nd Annual Gucci Award For Women In Cinema

Brit Marling joined Salma Hayek on the red carpet at the 2nd Annual Gucci Award for Women In Cinema ceremony last week, held at the Hotel Cipriani during the 2012 Venice Film Festival.

The actress attended the event as a nominee for her role in ‘Another Earth’.

Brit lost out to Thelma Schoonmaker for the award on this occasion, but she looked gorgeous wearing a one-of-a-kind Gucci cream frock.

Her long-sleeve gown with billowy sleeves, a plunging neckline and a gold-and-silver crystal-embellished belt was styled with pale silver sandals and a leather silver box clutch, both by Gucci.

Opting to keep her beauty regime simple once again, she opted for a pink lip colour and wavy locks.

I prefer this look to her ‘The Iceman’ premiere look.

Which do you prefer?

She is beautiful, her makeup and hair are perfect and the gown is classically elegant, but it is TOO LONG! Makes it looks like a night gown.

Three words: GOR-GEE-US. LOVE it entirely. She is absolutely beautiful and a welcome new addition to the red carpet (though Wikipedia pegs her as being 29)

I really like this girl – I think she looks amazing here, and I really loved the Gucci from last week. She’s really developing a great style streak.

I prefer this one, by far, even if I agree with Rebecca Z, the dress is too long, but it’s beautiful, she looks great and I like the simple styling.

Elegant and breezy. She looks great without trying to hard. Kind of reminds me of Jennifer Morrison in Temperley for some reason…
