Maika Monroe and Zac Efron hit the red carpet on Friday evening for their ‘At Any Price’ premiere during the 2012 Venice Film Festival, held at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.
Every year the festival reveals a young new talent, and now seems to be the moment of Maika Monroe.
The 18-year-old actress dazzled on the red carpet wearing a Marchesa Fall 2012 gown.
Her white gown with feather-like embroidery and a flared tulle skirt was a perfectly glamorous way to shine in this spotlight.
The beachy braid wouldn’t have been my choice, but she’s a young girl who probably wanted to have some fun with the look and add a youthful vibe.
Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain crystal chain ankle strap sandals, drop earrings and glossy lips completed her look.
Zac looked incredibly dapper in his black suit and matching black tie.

She was beautiful, but … LOOK AT ZAC! <3
This dress reminds me another Marchesa gownh which was worn by Naomi Watts
Reminds me of so many Marchesa dresses worn over the years by celebrities – cause at this points most Marchesa dresses look more or less the same and I’ve lost interest in the brand
+1
+1. This dress is nice, though a bit fussy to my taste. But Marchesa is always the same: a lot of details, something that shines/sparkles and a lot of feathers.
Really don’t like the tulled feather skirt, brings the whole look down to just another overworked Marchesa gown.
Would have preferred if it contined as a sleek feather gown instead, that would have been something different.
that’s a beautiful dress,looks good on her,but the hair…
Fabulous choice, love the feathers! Could have done with some Hollywood vintage waves hair wise but the dress carries itself- beautifully dreamy.
The dress is lovely and the i like the hair for the simple fact she’s 18 i think its good that she stays young and fun to many stars these days who are teens look in there late 20s
Love the dress but pity she’s too young to pull it off.. She looks like she’s standing at a tennis court rather than a red carpet.
+1
She doesn’t have the poise to pull it off.
Ha! I was thinking the same thing. It’s very a interesting juxtaposition: a fluttery, feathered, feminine gown against the “let’s get to it” hands on hip posture one adopts right before cleaning out the garage.
Gorgeous, angelic details on this dress–(a bit too lowcut, and I wish that the sheer piece weren’t there), but I think that the hair really brings it down. This needed an updo.
I don’t like the dress.
At first glance, thought it was Blake Lively…
I don’t like the dress at all. Can’t stand feathers, tulle and sparkle. Her styling makes it even more tacky. It’s the kind of dress people will feel ashamed of wearing in 20 years.
