Scottish actress Karen Gillan wore Dolce & Gabbana for the premiere of ‘Doctor Who’ in New York City earlier this week.
The redheaded former model looked far more Can Can dancer than sci-fi wunderkind in this strapless black and white polka dot dress. The lace details and flounced skirt – not to mention the matching lace ankle boots – would look right at home in Paris’ Moulin Rouge, don’t you think?
Karen, who also chose to wear Dolce & Gabbana for a London screening earlier in the month, could do with lending co-star Matt Smith a few style tips. While she obviously made an effort for the stateside event, he turned up in jeans, tee and waistcoat. The result? A style mismatch.
