Gwen Stefani graces the cover of Elle UK’s October issue.
Matt Irwin captures the singer wearing Fall 2012 looks by London-based designers Peter Pilotto and Alexander McQueen, mixing edgy digital prints with colourful florals for an interesting mash up, which typifies Gwen’s style.
With No Doubt’s sixth album ‘Push and Shove’ set for release on September 18, Gwen talks to the mag about finding motherhood difficult, saying that ‘being a mom is hard’, and that she finds herself being overwhelmed trying to find balance as she strives to ‘do it all’.
Be sure to pick up this issue when it hits newsstands on September 5.

I love the cover!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this combinbation.
Wow ! Thats really one interesting mix of prints and florals. Its very striking and absolutely loving it on Gwen. Not many can do justice to it.
A great combo!
Drop dead gorgeous as always!
love Gwen this would only work on her…
you can tell it was mixed and I think it was a mistake. Long sleeves, gjutting shapes AND a poofy, colorfully ornamented skirt? Too d*mn much!
I find this combo to be terrible–it looks like she got dressed in the dark. Both could be striking pieces on their own, but it is just TOO MUCH here! Plus the overload of clothes makes her look bulky.
Love the cover, style and the combination. Great job done.
