Fiammetta Cicogna brought drama to the red carpet on Tuesday night for the Venice Film Festival premiere of ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’.
The Italian television personality stood out in a jaw-dropping Alberta Ferretti gown.
Her Swan-Princess-worthy chiffon gown features long lace sleeves and a full tulle underskirt, accentuated with a pink-ribbon waistband.
I’m glad that Fiammetta went so simple with the styling.
A slicked-back ponytail, drop earrings and metallic silver clutch are just the right details to pull off such a major look.

I don’t know how I feel about this look.
I think I would have liked the dress more on a brunette and with smaller earrings.
Exactly what i was thinking!
I love the dress, but not the styling. That pink ribbon is disturbing, and the make-up was a mess.
+1. The make up is really bad here.love the dress nonetheless.
Cool dress, but the veil and groom is missing.
Mmmmhhh, bold choice but not a winning one. It’s not working. Plus, that waistband sits too low and therefore the proportions are off.
i agree about the waistband, but i love the drama
I totally agree
well-said
I’m loving the drama of this gown. So stunning.
WOW! I love it, I really love it.
If only she have shown us some color via lipstick or the clutch or the earring, i would have loved it.. But the gown is amazing..
i agree with most posters. LOVE the dress, hate the earrings and makeup.
Not liking the dress. The pink ribbon is kinda tacky looking.
I love this gown!!
I think I would like this better without the ribbon but I still think she looks gorgeous.
quite possibly one of the ugliest dresses ever designed. way too much going on not to mention it looks hideously cheap and tacky, dare i say looks like something some of the girls i went to high school would wear to prom.
Definitely agree with too much going on even with minimal accessories. Also with comments about it being bridal – and the horrible makeup. Altogether not a win here.
She s not a great celebrity, so she wanted to look more sophisticated than what she really is and the result is bad. But the real problem is: why is she at Venice film festival?! NO TALENTED GIRL ABSOLUTELY
I agree with you, but at Film Festivals in general there’re always people like her; I saw a girl from Italian Big Brother few years ago on the red carpet of Cannes!! I couldn’t believe it! That’s how it works today. In my opinion the make up is ugly, the earrings unnecessary, the pink ribbon nonsense considering the position of the waistline of the dress which is a bit wasted worn by somebody like her.
i’m thinking the dress is too fussy especially with that pink ribbon messing up the drop waist look of it all.
no likey on this one
I am so over see-through lace and feathery skirts. Both are trends I’ll be glad to see disappear, along with the mullet dress.
If it weren’t so see-through, I’d kind of love it! But even then it would need some tweaking…the sash hiked up, and short sleeves, I think. With those modifications, it could have been a gorgeous dress! As it is, it feels too ice-skatery, beauty pageanty, etc.
That dress is gorgeous!!! Sadly, the dress was completely let down by the awful pink ribbon.
