For her twelfth ‘Solo Moda’ programme, Nieves Alvarez toned down the more colourful looks we have seen in previous weeks, for three looks with more muted tones.
First up was a black David Delfin Fall 2012 animal-print ensemble.
After weeks of showcasing her gorgeous pins, she covered them up on this occasion wearing slim pants with a matching blouse.
The look feels very masculine on the runway, but the model oozes feminine sophistication in this look which she paired with Jimmy Choo silver sandals. This is my favourite look of the three.
Nieves’ second look was from the Dsquared² Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The teal dress with a keyhole detail and embellished collar was paired with my favourite shoes from her so far.
These tri-colour Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Eiffel Tower’ sandals just shot to number one on my want list.
I’m surprised to say this, but I’m not really fond of her third look.
This gold metallic Marchesa dress isn’t doing much for Nieves. As a supermodel, one of her super powers is to make anything look good, but that ability failed on this occasion as I don’t find the fit very flattering.
Black Jimmy Choo peep-toes completed the look.
Which one is your favourite?

I love the MARCHESA dress. It fits perfect but on the pic looks like is not. As the dress has a bow on the hip, but she looked so statuesque.
As you, I FALL in love of those Zanotti sandals!!!!! are to DIE for!!!!!
love david delfin’s look. david delfin is one of my favourite designers
I actually find her more creepier and creepier…
I Love the first look! And I totally agree with you about the third one, the fit ins’t doing anything for her figure.
Her facial expression stays in the same in every photo.
The Marcvhesa look is my favorite–so elegant and glam! I also love the Zanotti sandals. Beautiful.
The first two looks.
The second look is my favorite. I love those sandals. The first look I like as well. Not crazy about the last look.
Is solo moda Italian for “don’t smile” ?? Even the most gorgeous supermodel is prettier with a smile.. First look is best but I would’ve loved her hair completely pulled back
Love the first one!

she looks great but i do wish she would smile or at least change her facial expression.
love the second look alot.
Def. the 1st David Delfin. I like her in sexy slim pant ensembles better than in shorter dresses.
AMAZING!!!!!!
