Lizzy Caplan In Stella McCartney – The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Lizzy Caplan made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on Friday following her ‘Bachelorette’ co-star Kirsten Dunst who appeared on the show the previous evening.

The actress continued to showcase her unique style wearing a Stella McCartney Fall 2012 dress.

Her colour-block tweed dress with grey, black, taupe and brown panels also has white panels at the back.

Some of you may consider that the look has too much going on with the addition of the high neckline and godets shape fluted skirt, but I think with Lizzy’s quirky and fun approach to fashion she pulls this look off quite nicely.

Opting to forgo jewels, Lizzy accessorized with Ruthie Davis ‘Dragon’ sandals which perfect the look.

I’m very excited to see what Lizzy gives us next, as she’s so unpredictable. Thankfully, in a good way.

Lizzy’s hair is much improved from the last outing, opting for simple wavy locks, so what do you think of this overall look?

You can buy Lizzy’s Stella McCartney dress from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

It’s official: summer is over for celebs. They’ve been dressing for Fall for the past month.

Lol. My first reaction was “Tweed?? You gotta be kidding!”

Haha you are right! For some of them summer never came, it seems! That aside, this look is good for her. Not exactly my style but still good.

I would have loved this if it was October/November. I’ve liked Lizzy since Mean Girls, I even like the dress in spite of it being by Stella McCartney, but I just can’t with tweed in August!

I’ve seen Mean Girls so many times, I cannot seem to wrap my head around the fact that she’s all grown up now! Same for Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and the lot.

Anyway, it is a late-night show so she can’t exactly wear explodingly bright colors. And for the end of August, I wouldn’t say it’s inappropriate. I personally don’t like the dress but not for the reason that it’s off-season. It’s just ugly. I’m sorry.
