Kasia Smutniak In Valentino – Venice Film Festival Dinner

The 69th Venice Film Festival hasn’t even started yet and I am already developing a style crush on Kasia Smutniak.

The host of the opening and closing ceremony gives us her third look in two days, by attending a pre-festival dinner party in Venice this evening.

She looked very graceful wearing a Valentino Fall 2012 gown.

Once again she opts for minimal styling wearing her sleeveless black embroidered floor-length gown.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the length of her gown which is ankle-length on the model.

Keeping the same chic chignon from the photocall earlier in the day, she added a darker lip colour for this occasion.

Kasia’s photocall look is still my favourite.

Which do you favour?

The Jil Sander dress, the Valentino photocall dress or this evening’s Valentino gown?

This is my favorite, absolutely. And I prefer the length of her dress instead of the runway version.

This is elegant, but laidback. It’s a perfectly good look, well-executed and event appropriate, but I’m not blown away. It’s a bit of a letdown after the GORGEOUSO photocall gown!

    Omg. Love this too!

I much prefer the lenght of Kasia’s dress.
I love both this and the other Valentino. She makes them work with her effortlessness.
I’ve always liked this girl (she’s Polish but she became famous here in Italy as a model/actress), she has a very classic/no-fuss/minimalist style (I think Valentino and Armani would be her preferred choices) that really suits her. And she always struck me as quite articulate and strong, in her interviews.
I wish she has a great time at this event, also considering that it’s her first major appearance since loosing her partner (and father of her child) two years ago.

I prefer the runway length but it is gorgeous either way.

This is just lovely. While I would have liked to have seen the hem a little closer to the length on the model, I still think it’s gorgeous.

    Wow.. Second time WOW !
She looks gorgeous , the length is perfect here ! But more than that, its her stance and attitude which is flooring me ! Beautiful ..

PS: I will still go with the photo call dress, nothing can beat that..

I think either length works well, but I slightly prefer the longer one. It’s a lovely dress.
