Brenda Strong In Tadashi Shoji – Channel 5 ‘Dallas’ Launch Party

Brenda Strong joined Jordana Brewster on the red carpet for Channel 5’s launch party for ‘Dallas’ at Old Billingsgate Market in London yesterday evening.

The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress, who joins this cast as Ann Ewing – Bobby’s third wife – wore a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 dress for the occasion.

Her flirty sleeveless black-and-nude chiffon-lace dress with banded waistline was styled with black B Brian Atwood chain-fringe platform sandals which remind of a similar pair by Nicholas Kirkwood.

An embellished Swarovski clutch, which sparkled as brightly as her Swarovski jewels, accessorized her look.

Dark red lippie and a wavy bob provided the finishing touches.

Loved it until I scrolled down to the shoes.

I like the look, but I find it too wintery and her foundation too pale for her body, I also dislike teh shoes with it, they seem like an attempt to make it more edgy and young and they just don’t work for me.

I don’t like the dress from waist down. But she looks nice nonetheless.

I really don’t like this look, for some reason. It looks so…itchy. The lace is too busy and seems kind of scraggly. Her makeup is too harsh, and the whole thing just feels off.
