It was a very busy day for Maria Sharapova in New York City yesterday.
Following her Sugarpova launch at Henri Bendel, she headed over to Haven Rooftop at the Sanctuary Hotel to celebrate being the cover star for Hamptons Magazine.
Opting for a low bun with face-framing tendrils, the tennis star showcased her off-court style wearing a Valentino Fall 2012 dress.
The red long-sleeve laser-cut leather dress was styled with glitter pointy pumps, a Tag Heuer timepiece, diamond-encrusted earrings and a dazzling cocktail ring.
It might not be as summery as the previous outfit, but I think she aced this look.
What do you think?

Sharipova? Lol.
Maria looks good, but she has a habit of wearing outfits that age her a bit. The dress, hairstyle and shoes are nice, but I would love to see Maria wear something a little more fun and young for a change.
Ps. Petty sure she is wearing a Tag Heuer watch, since she is an ambassador for that brand.
*Pretty
I really like this outfit! I like the red color on Maria, it fits her great! And the heels are great too!
It’s Ok but not as cute as her David Koma look.
Pretty and feminine.
It’s a lovely dress, but I don’t think it suits her skin complexion. A richer red would have work but that shade seems to wash her out.
While I like the dress, I feel something is not working and I can’t quite make out what. I am not sure if the silhouette is the best for her….and I am not a fan of the hair (too messy!) or the pumps (not with this dress). I think the dress looks better on the runway model.
Maybe I’m biased coz I love blondes in red, but I really like this look. It’s effortless, classy and elegant, just like Valentino should always be.
Plus, I think that between this look and the David Koma one, I have never seen Maria look better makeup-wise: the light make up really suits her and make the colour of her eyes pop up beautifully.
Love it! She is so elegant.
Depending how this week goes I’d like to see her looks on BDOTW.
She looks a tad matronly in this dress, not a fan of the glitter pumps or the hair. Her previous David Koma look worked much better for her.
P.S. should’ve been ‘Saharapova’ instead of Sugarpova.
YAY, someone finally wore this dress! I love it! She looks great.
obviously wrong season. looks uncomfortable. not a fan.
I love it. Especially the faux bob.
Again, too constricting. I think she looks uncomfortable.
