The Asian actress looked heavenly wearing a dress from Prabal Gurung’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
I adore everything about this look, which works perfectly against her pale skin tone.
Her pale-rose v-neck tulle dress with burnt opalescent paillettes and sequins was styled with complementary silver accessories including a bangle, a leather belt and heels.
I see this as a BDOTW contender.

It is a beautiful dress, but I don’t think her presentation is BDOTW.
I completely agree. I loved the original dress but I don’t think it looks as good on Yao… and I really miss the belt.
This I adore. The silver accessories are so much nicer than the model’s black ones.

It’s refreshing to see celebrities in Asia sporting newer and younger designers. There was too much brand snobbery in the past and not enough cool factors. But the new generation of celebrities are different. Chen looked beautiful. She has the Anne Hathaway face – big features on a relatively small face and radiant smile.
I was just thinking the same thing about Anne Hathaway! They both have that almost exaggeratingly wide smile, but they’re gorgeous.
