Mena Suvari also attended the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree last night, which was held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California.
Even with the sassy attitude, the ‘American Pie’ actress can still pull off sweet cocktail dresses like this Georges Chakra Spring 2012 Couture frock.
I’m glad the white silk gazar dress with pleats and floral embroidered straps was modified from the runway version, which has a ‘here comes the bride’ feel to it with the train.
She joined a host of stars who carried an Edie Parker clutch to this event, hers was a silver confetti clutch, which would’ve been a lot less overwhelming had it been a tad smaller.
Like Ashley Madekwe, Mena opted for an interesting choice of footwear, selecting lilac ankle-strap peep-toes when silver or white would’ve been such an obvious choice.
Dana Rebecca Designs silver drop earrings, a sleek centre-parted hairstyle and cat-eyes completed her look.

I can see what you are saying about the train, FC, but it’s the special twist for me. Kind of a “Gwyneth at the Oscars” moment: the cape might have made her so superwoman-y, but why, oh why, did she have to take it off when she went on stage?
