Jaime King is always a delight on the red carpet; she looked stunning as ever when attending InStyle’s Summer Soiree at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, last night.
The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress was dressed in a beautiful Marchesa Resort 2013 one-shoulder cocktail dress with cascading ruffles, a layered peplum detail at the waist and patent bow accent.
Her stunning scarlet dress was styled with an eye-catching Marchesa beaded-and-sequin embellished clutch for a touch of pizzazz to the look.
To prevent the look from being too one note, she added nude Jimmy Choo ‘Delta’ strappy sandals and applied a rose-pink lip colour with gold studded earrings and a slicked-back bun providing the finishing touches.
I know some of you aren’t the biggest fans of Marchesa’s work, but you have to admit that this look is pretty special.

this is gorgeous stuff
I love it when georgina and keren get it right!
+1. Yupp ! She looks stuuning.
Stunning. Another BDOTW contender for me.
Jaw dropped, BDOTW
I prefer the dress on the model.
Me too. For some reason I like it better without the see-through detail. She looks great nonetheless. The clutch is to die for.
Yep the seethroughneess is bothering me. Other than that she looks perfect.
Gorgeous, but I wish she’d lined the bodice like the model.
BDOTW, for sure.
Good enough, but I think I prefer the original red-lined version.
Me too.
+1
Jamie King makes Marchesa work – yay!
Love it BDOTW contender!
So pretty, automatically think of gold or matching red sandals but nude are ok.
I also prefer the lined version of this dress on the model, but Jaime styled it amazingly. She looks beautiful.
I would love it if not for the nude lining on the bodice. Otherwise, pretty look! Like the dress on the model though.
The nude lining is not as attractive as the runway version, but this is still a gorgeous look. I’m trusting that that IS nude lining, and not see-through…in which case I would NOT like it. Great styling.
