Christa B. Allen added a beautiful burst of colour to the red carpet at the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California last night.
The ‘Revenge’ star’s summery look is actually a Fall 2012 look by Giorgio Armani.
I love the mix of colours and the origami-style detail around her waist. This wasn’t an easy choice, but Christa pulls it off.
Known for her love of interesting heels, on this occasion she selected a nude pair of triple-stack Ruthie Davis pumps.
The rest of her complementary accessories included Alexis Bittar jewels and a silver Judith Leiber ‘Overture’ clutch.
Loose waves and a pretty tangy coral lip colour completed her look.
Because I could never walk in those heels, I am loving this look from the ankles up.

Can’t say I love it but it does work from h2t including the shoes, agree, the shape of the shoe goes perfectly with the perculiar print/structure of the dress and the nude colour doesn’t compete with the print.
She’s a rising star, but I was wondering who is her stylist(s)? I mean for a newbie on red carpet, she already get herself some dresses from A-list designers, good job for that.

She gets it right here. She is making the dress work.
She is definitely working this look with great styling (the shoes are pretty cool, though probably SUPER hard to walk in), but the dress confuses me. I’m not thrilled with it–it’s rather overdesigned.
