Gwen Stefani rocks an Alexis Mabille Couture floral headpiece and a Jil Sander gown on the cover of US Harper’s Bazaar September issue, which was shot by Terry Richardson.
The mag gives Gwen a mini makeover by swapping her signature red lip colour for a hot-pink hue.
In her editorial, which sees her wearing only pink and black looks, my favourite is the frothy pink Alexander McQueen gown, which has to have a red carpet moment. The singer also wears The Row, DVF, Vera Wang and Versace.
Gwen opened up about her personal life, being a working mum, her style and the secret to her envied six-pack abs.
On her style: “I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up … I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you. I like to make my husband like me more, and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup.”
On staying fit: “I hate talking about my body [all the time]; it’s ridiculous. There is no secret: you just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself! But it’s more for my brain than it is for my body. I like to wear clothes too much, so I try to keep focused.”
On motherhood: “It’s superfun being a mom, but it’s hard too. Finding that balance between work and family is the hardest thing I’ve ever done – by far.”
On fame and gossip: “That someone would say something untrue or bad about me doesn’t bother me. It’s like water off a duck’s back. None of that stuff matters. There’s something in me, being this passive person, that those kinds of things don’t upset me. I know they can say anything; they can just make something up. But what are you going to do? It’s not part of my reality, so it’s okay.”

What is there to say apart from….STUNNING!
She is so stuningly beautiful I love this photoshoot. Very fun!
I actually love her best in Versace. She looks so beautiful throughout, but those two pics are stunning. The DVF jumpsuit is lovely as well, but FC, which Alexander McQueen dress were you referring to? Is it pictured here?
FINALLY a celebrity who is honest and doesnt say the usual “i eat whatever i want and barely exercise” rubbish. she looks amazing especially in the diane von furstenberg jumpsuit.
WOW! Stunning cover!
She is just drop dead gorgeous!, i love the shoot ,she can wear anything, but i think red lipstick is just her staple, the Vera Wang dress is amazing wow
That’s an insanely inspired cover.
She looks gorgeous in all of these pictures, and that cover is amazing. My favorite is the Row dress!
I don’t think I have EVER seen her make free! She is going to age very fast with the way she always has too much make up on same with Dita Von Teese. You have to let your skin breath as much as possible.
If you are curious, Gwen goes make-up free at the very end of No Doubt’s video for “Underneath it All.” She of course, still looks gorgeous!
She looks spectacular.
I really loved all the outfits, but the one I loved the most is the McQueen one.
WOW, just WOW! This photoshoot is all sorts of amazing, I can’t even choose my favorite pic/outfit! She looks so beautiful in all of them and that has a lot to do with all the fun she seemed to be having. I mean, she looks so genuinely excited in those photos.
And the cover is just brilliant!
I LOVE this editorial, especially the cover!
Love the Mabille headpiece–the Vera Wang gown, the lustrous pink of the Jil Sander gown, and the Oscar de la Renta gown (even though I could just see a little bit). Not every look was my style but this was a very fun editorial! I love the color scheme.
Love this entire photoshoot, she looks amazing!
