Two days ago we got a sneak peak at Leighton Meester’s Valentino Red animal-print dress on the set of ‘Gossip Girl’, which was shot in New York City.
Late last night Leighton was spotted filming more scenes with co-star Blake Lively wearing the same dress, sans polka dot hoodie, sweat pants and sandals.
Her final look sees her teaming her sweet-Blair-esqe dress with triple stacked zebra-print Brian Atwood pumps.
Animal-print and zebra-print? Was it one print too far?

Neither girls’ footwear works for me.
Fuchsia [Jimmy Choo perhaps] strappy sandals would’ve been perfect for Blair’s dress. Strappy gold Gucci sandals would’ve worked for Serena’s look.
The dress is very pretty, but the shoes are the opposite. Love her updo and her earrings.
Btw, Blake’s look is so tacky.

The shoea aren’t terrible with the dress but maybe if there weren’t platforms it would look better. The dress is pretty.
Well, surprisingly, those shoes work for me. It’s not too much animal print and these pair of shoes are better than a matchy-matchy pair. Leighton, as always, looks spectacular as Blair Waldorf. And I agree with Yeliz. Blake’s outfit is indeed tacky.

It’s not about the prints here for me. The dress maybe animal-print on paper but it doesn’t come through as one, it’s just a light cutesy dress and those bold tripled-stacked zebra-print pumps (which are on a tacky side) clash with it.
Definitely one print too far for my tastes.
I like the dress just not with the shoes. It only works in reel life not real life
