The woman of the moment, Stella McCartney, also attended the UK’s Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of Arts in London last night which was also attended by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
Praised for her efforts in designing the Team GB kit, the designer has been on a high, tweeting her experiences within the Olympic Village.
Last night she was flying the flag for her brand wearing a head-to-toe Stella McCartney Fall 2012 look.
Her deep Egyptian-blue jacquard and cornflower leaf brocade suit was paired with blue pumps with white platforms and a navy clutch which also had a white trim.
Some of you haven’t been too enamoured by Stella McCartney’s designs on celebs, so how do you feel about her in her own threads?
Personally I think she’s rocking the hell out of this look.

Amazing! The silhouette makes it look formal, but the suit’s print is very fashion-forward and not at all predictable. Stella looks sleek, fresh-faced, young but not trying too hard. A+

Pants with an elastic waist. Really? Total fail.
LMAO! Old lady wear. My mom is 70+ years young and elastic pants are banned from her closet.
Also a big no from me. The pants are awful, plus the ‘fresh-faced’ makeup washes her out and the hairstyle doesn’t flatter her face. She needed to break up the monotony of the print with at least one solid piece.
