Rachel Weisz In Christian Dior Couture – ‘The Bourne Legacy’ New York Premiere

Rachel Weisz was joined on the red carpet for the New York premiere of ‘The Bourne Legacy’ held at the Ziegfeld Theater last night wearing head-to-toe black.

Even though black isn’t my favourite colour on the red carpet, the British actress looked sensational wearing a Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture dress.

The black strapless bustier calf-length dress with a side split from Raf Simons’ first Dior Couture offerings is our second look at this collection on the red carpet.

I know some of you struggle with this length, but with her chic styling she gives this look a regal air of sophistication.

With her hair styled in an elegant updo and a bold red lip colour, Rachel added a Bulgari Serpenti white gold and full pave diamond bracelet, a black Charlotte Olympia ‘Pandora Domino’ clutch with gold hardware and a lustworthy pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Bow Bow’ T-strap sandals to her look.

You can buy Rachel’s Christian Louboutin ‘Bow Bow’ T-strap sandals from Saks.com.

She looks AH MAZING! Best black ensemble this year

She could have used a pop of color, but otherwise I love the look. Its very sophisticated and classy.
I actually love this length dress, it just bothers me when its not tailored properly to the right length for whoever is wearing it, so it ends up around their ankles. This fits Rachel perfectly.

im not sold to this look. im not a fan of those shoes either. I prefer the lanvin look

Not sold on this look either, I think it’s pretty bad actually – the fit/length are way off, very unflattering, and the shoes are absolutely WRONG here(!!), they may have worked with Erin Heatherton’s flirty hot pink ‘barbie doll’ look but they certainly do not go with this more modern and sexy look.
Do like her hair and makeup.

        Couldn’t agree more

I will happily admit I love a black dress, even with that bias noted: Rachel looks STUNNING. I adore this.

  6. Andreea July 31, 2012 at 10:36 #

I love everything about this look.

  7. Kim July 31, 2012 at 10:39 #

WOW she looks absolutely stunning! So chic, so sexy, so classy. I love her!

  8. Kathy July 31, 2012 at 10:49 #

To be honest, I don’t like this outfit at all. The dress fits so poorly on her, and makes her look boxy and short. She needs to be about 5 inches taller (yes, even with heels) and have a slimmer frame to wear it well. The shoes are quite cool, but with Rachel’ feet twisted like that the flowers don’t align right and it messes up the effect.

    • amparo July 31, 2012 at 16:54 #

Agreed. Also the upper part of the dress seems to be about to colapse!

  9. Francesca July 31, 2012 at 10:52 #

I actually don’t like the dress. There’s something that bothers me and I don’t know if it’s the colour, the fit or the lenght. But I adore the shoes

  17. Yeliz July 31, 2012 at 15:02 #

Writing the word love in caps lock wouldn’t be enough to show how much I love this look.

She looks breathtaking and flawless and fantastic. I wouldn’t change a thing about this look.

    BDOTW contender.

Gosh, I really miss the drama and romance of Galliano in Dior clothes. They were unique and beautiful.

  19. Mol July 31, 2012 at 16:24 #

Rachel is like a breath of fresh air on the red carpet right now, chic, elegant, makeup and hair perfect, I bet she even has an awesome perfume on! I would be happy to see either this or the Lanvin (that color of green was perfection on her) on your Bdotw list.

I adore this as a look, but I just don’t get why she is wearing such a completely wintery look in the middle of summer. Also, given how much I disliked almost all the collection, I’m surprised at how much I loved both of this collection’s red carpet outings.
Her clutch is the ‘Pandora Domino’ by Charlotte Olympia. http://www.charlotteolympia.com/accessories/domino-pandora.html

2 for 2 on both Rachel on this promo tour and outings of this Dior couture collection on the red carpet. She looks so chic and alluring.

  22. Dhppy August 1, 2012 at 00:51 #

Wow! Gorgeous! Love everything I see before me. It’s getting to the point where whenever I see a pair of shoes that I love, I find they are Louboutins.

    Smoking hot. she looks fabulous.

I’m usually completely bored with black dresses on the red carpet these days, but I love Rachel’s unique styling. From the domino clutch to the amazing shoes, I love it from head to toe.
