Emmy Rossum posed on the red carpet of the CW, CBS and Showtime 2012 Summer TCA party in Beverly Hills yesterday.
The star donned Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 black and white lace cocktail dress that flattered her figure and fit flawlessly.
I love that the dress accents the waist and is finished with another peek of white lace at the bottom.
Emmy finished her look with a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Claudia’ sandals. I think the ankle strap adds a bit of fun to an ensemble that could otherwise feel a little severe.
Side-swept waves and a red lip finished things off with a nostalgic feel that was not unwelcome given the classic cut of the dress.

YES! And I just love the way she styled her hair and did her make up. It would have been easy to look a bit try-hard and too mature in this outfit, but I think she did a really great job of looking youthful and fresh.

YESYESYESYES! I’m not always sold on her use of red lips, but there is nothing about this look that I can put one finger on. The dress is absolutely perfect and the reason why it works so well on her is because it is perfectly fitted. The fit is everything. BDOTW for me too! Even if it’s only Tuesday. Contender for sure.
