Wednesday night designer Rachel Roy attended the New York screening of ‘The Campaign’ at Sunshine Landmark.
The New York based beauty wore a Roland Mouret Dugmanta black jumpsuit from the Spring 2011 collection.
Rachel added a blazer from her own Pre-Fall 2012 collection and a pair of Manolo Blahnik lace pumps to complete the look.
I absolutely love the blazer and the way the shoulders pick up the back from the jumpsuit. While I think Roland Mouret piece looks amazing on Rachel, I would have liked to see her accessorize it with a statement necklace to tone down the revealing nature of the top.
Her simple hair and makeup keep the look young and fresh, but to me her Manolo heels seem a bit too stern for the rest of the ensemble.
Do you agree? What do you think of Rachel’s look?

Not liking the shoes with this look. I am actually confused by this getup.
I agree 100% with you, Jessica.
I don’t like the top underneath. Every else is OK.
To me it looks like she threw on the jacket because she felt too naked in the jumpsuit. The jumpsuit is a serious piece and this presentation is too casual.
This jumpsuit is a very wrong choice for Rachel with her physique – one needs slimmer much more graceful frame than that to pull it off, with longer thinner torso and smaller bust. She ends up looking tacky.
And it does feel like she just threw on the jacket (as Rebecca Z wrote above) b/c she felt uncomfortable in the revealing top. The whole thing is quite awful.
I think Diane Kruger wore this to a party at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.
I am shocked she hasnt anything on revealing she is usually very covered.
no,no good
