Kareena Kapoor attended the promo launch of her new film ‘Heroine’ at the Cinemax in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The actress wore an Emanuel Ungaro jumpsuit from the Spring 2012 collection and a pair of gold Jimmy Choo shoes.
I am a huge fan of Kareena’s easy elegance, which is why I expected more from her than she gave with this look.
The top of the jumpsuit has been modified to reduce the plunge. As a result the natural drape presented on the model is lost on Kareena.
She pairs the strong red of her look with a swipe of equally bright lipstick, which makes it hard to notice anything besides the plethora of red surrounding her.
While I like the way she has her hair pulled back and the small details of her belt and bracelet, I wish she had chosen a more subtle piece for the carpet.
Do you like Kareena Kapoor’s jumpsuit? Or is there something else you would have rather seen her in?

I think Kareena looks much more ravishing….sexier actually….in a sari….the picture behind her says it all…
I prefer the look on the model.
Much better on the model.
also prefer the model version.
Me too.
Yes, me too.
+1
I don’t know much about her or her style but as it is here I like this look. A relaxed, elegant glam look.
gotta agree. i do know about her style on screen and off…this is a different kind of elegance for her. stunning yet super relax. the red is captivating!
I actually like this on her how it is. I think she looks classy and pretty.
Meh. She mostly turns designer gears into blah-designs for me, & this is no different time
i knew something wasn’t right and you hit the nail on the head – the modification!
not her best…
I like this look on her
This is pretty sad–actually might have been helped if her hair were down and providing some movement.
In the absence of a statement necklace she could’ve easily worn her hair down.
Since this was the Mumbai premier, I would have liked to see her wear an Indian designer, maybe even as sari. The jumpsuit is nice, but doesn’t leave an impression on me.
I thought the shortened neckline was a problem, as well. Now it seems that there’s too much fabric a the sides. Basically it’s turned into a windsock.
lovessss ittt
btww its spring 2012
I totally love this look. Just stunning. I don’t think modifying the neckline takes anything away from the look – I actually prefer it.
Much better on Kareena than the shapeless skinny model!
I thought she looked great when I first saw the pics in the Indian media but I can now see that the model looks better.. having said that.. its very difficult for any one in India to wear such a daring neckline
The colour looks great on Kareena and she looks good in the jumpsuit. It makes a nice change from some of the tight short dresses she has been wearing of late.
