Carly Rae Jepsen opted for a super cute look on the red carpet at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday in Universal City, California.
While so many stars selected cute summery dresses, Carly donned a Lisa Ho Spring 2012 palm-tree print short suit paired with a white vest top.
The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer’s charming look included a Kate Spade New York ‘Tiki’ clutch and Aldo black patent pumps.
Sleek locks, smoky eyes and pink lip shade completed her fun, yet chic look which would’ve been even better with some cute sandals.

Adorable ensemble. The clutch is a bit too fussy, competing with the busy palm-tree print. Would’ve preferred simpler clutch and sandals instead of the heavy black pumps.
Love the suit but the pumps are hideous.
I love the outfit and it looks great on her — but I think the shoes really bring the look down.
Whenever you wear a structured blazer, even with a print, even with shorts, black pumps will produce something of an “officey” vibe. And that’s not good for a youthful, fun event like this.
Come on, it’s time for sandals. Those pumps are awful.
The clutch is too adorable. She looks great apart from the black pumps.
I agree with everyone above me about the shoes. It’s a shame she wore them, because this look is really great from the ankles up.
