Kelly Brook In Alexander McQueen – Magnum’s London Pop-Up Store Launch

Kelly Brook was at the Westfield Stratford shopping centre yesterday evening to launch Magnum ice cream’s first pop-up store.

The TV presenter/model looked divine wearing an Alexander McQueen flared felt-wool dress.

Yes, it is totally ironic that Kelly is promoting ice cream wearing a bordeaux and eggplant trimmed Pre-Fall 2012 dress. But that’s the British summer for you.

Even if it was a glorious sunny summer’s evening, this colour combo is working wonders for Kelly’s complexion, especially since she’s darkened her hair colour.

I usually find Kelly’s style unappealing, but I have to say this is one of her best looks so far this year.

The styling which includes an Alexander McQueen leather waist belt and YSL ‘Tribute’ sandals totally help sell this look to me.

You can buy Kelly’s dress in the reverse colour way, as presented in the lookbook, from Net-A-Porter International.
Kelly’s Alexander McQueen leather waist belt is available from Net-A-Porter.com.
Her YSL ‘Tribute’s sandals are available from Net-A-Porter.com, Luisa via Roma and Neiman Marcus.

    I love this.
I’m not usually a fan of this type of colours during summer, but these are so beautiful and the dress so pretty that I’m totally in love with the look.

The reverse colour dress is also lovely, I would totally buy it.

I love the dress on the model but somehow Kelly B takes the edginess out of it and turns it naff

I really love this look, this is by far her best look this year. Amazing colour on her and fab styling. Gorgeous ad BDOTW worthy!

Wow she looks amazing, such a gorgeous colour and dress on her, loving the darker hair too!

I don’t think the colours are inappropriate at all. Since Magnum is chocolate, dark, “luxurious” icecream I think it’s very fitting what she’s wearing.

Nice. The colors may not be summery, but they are gorgeous and very flattering to her.

My objection here is to the length. As Lee Ann (above) said, the dress lines are better on the model. I think this is because it is designed to be knee-length with a DEEP, color-contrast hem band. Kelly has chopped off half the band, which spoils the design and makes the skirt look too chunky.

Had she not butchered the dress (for no apparent reason,) this would be an A+ for me, regardless of the autumny colors.

It’s an adorable look, well-styled/accessorized but the silhouette and length are a bit too girly for more mature Kelly.

Dar mucho better te model versión,specially te belt!

I love this! I don’t care about it being an autumn color, she looks beautiful.

The dress looks better on the model. It looks too short on Kelly and the belt seems to fall in the wrong place, should be a bit higher.

Love it! (The ice cream’s pretty good too).
